ConnectSaver helps freelancers judge whether an Upwork job looks real, fake, or a weak lowball apply before spending Connects.

How to use

1. Install ConnectSaver.
2. Open an Upwork job from its job page URL (the full job details page — not search results or your proposals list).
3. Click Is this real? in the panel.
4. If history is collapsed, expand Client’s recent history and Jobs in progress, then check again.

What the verdicts mean

• Likely real — client track record looks like genuine work.
• Likely fake — review padding, throwaway accounts, or similar patterns.
• Lowball / spammy — client may be real-ish, but the post is a poor use of Connects.
• Unclear — mixed signals; expand history or apply judgment.

Privacy

When you run a check, job page details you can already see (title, description, client stats, visible contract history) are sent to our API so we can score the posting. We do not ask for your Upwork password.
